Pher

Farzané Noori (aka Pher), born in 1994, is a Tehran based experimental musician. She learned solfège and classical piano as a child. After having graduated from Art University of Tehran with a degree in cinema studies, she started studying classical music composition and playing the cello.

Pher commenced exploring the world of electronic music in 2014 and ever since she composes and records her own music. Being classically trained, she utilizes compositional techniques and new technological possibilities of sound design to create an expressive atmosphere. Her music scrutinizes the bridge between classic and electronic music. She has written for stage and films and has collaborated with performance and visual artists.
