Tarik Barri
Tarik Barri is a celebrated audiovisual composer and software developer whose solo projects and striking live visuals for the likes of Thom Yorke, Monolake and Nicolas Jaar have been met with critical acclaim.
Barri has performed and displayed works at DEMF, Sonic Acts, Ars Electronica, Club Transmediale, TodaysArt, Berlin Atonal, MIT Media Lab and EMPAC. He has also served as a guest lecturer at Berklee College of Music (Boston, US), CCRMA (San Francisco, US), Universität der Künste (Berlin, DE) and the Utrecht School of Music and Technology (Hilversum, NL). In 2012, he received the Prix Ars Electronica Award of Distinction for his real-time composition project #Tweetscapes with Anselm Nehls.
